The Parusso family's history began in 1901 when Gaspare Parusso acquired the first vineyard in Mariondino, Castiglione Falletto. In 1925, Cascina Rovella was acquired in Località Bussia, where the winery and part of the vineyards stand. Armando Parusso began bottling his wine and presented the first Barolo Parusso label in 1971. In 1986, Marco Parusso finished his studies at the oenological school of Alba and began working alongside his father Armando, later joined by his sister Tiziana. In 2016, an 8-hectare property was purchased at Santa Rosalia in the commune of Alba, creating the Vegliamonte brand. In 2019, Tiziana's daughter Giulia and Marco's son Francesco joined the family business.

The estate has 28 hectares of vineyards. Mosconi is located in Monforte d’Alba, and Mariondino is located in Castiglione Falletto. Its wines include Parusso Barolo and Parusso Barolo Bussia.
