Chic Barcelona

Chic Barcelona is a cava producer in Penedès, Spain, founded in 2016. Its cava is made by winemaker Jordi G. Martí.

Its wines include a Brut blending macabeo, xarel-lo and parellada, and a rosé made entirely from trepat. The grapes are harvested by hand, with the rosé’s trepat coming from the Conca de Barbera Valley in south Catalonia. Winemaking follows the traditional method: after primary fermentation, the cuvée is assembled and bottled for secondary fermentation in an underground cellar. The wine then ages on the lees for at least 12 months.
