Hogan Wines

Hogan Wines is a small, family-run winery in Banhoek, Stellenbosch, South Africa, started in 2014 by winemaker Jocelyn Hogan Wilson and her family, the Hogans and the Wilsons. Before starting the business with her family, Jocelyn spent seven years working at various wineries in the Cape and overseas.

The wines are made in the Banhoek Valley, using grapes sourced from various regions of the Western Cape. In sourcing grapes, the winery has looked for older vines and selects vineyards whose climate and soil suit the grape varieties it uses. Its winemaking approach is to keep things as simple and natural as possible, aiming to create nuanced wines with a sense of place.
