Rustenberg is an estate in the Simonsberg Mountain valley in Stellenbosch, South Africa, founded in 1682, when Roelof Pasman recognised its wine-growing potential. By 1691, Pasman had planted 5,000 vines. Jakob Eksteen divided the estate into Rustenberg and Schoongezicht in 1810; in 1892, John X Merriman bought Schoongezicht and his brother-in-law, John Barry, bought Rustenberg. The properties were reunited after Peter and Pamela Barlow bought Rustenberg in 1941 and later acquired Schoongezicht. Their son Simon took over running the farm in 1987, joined by his son Murray in 2012.

The farm lies within Ida’s Valley and was declared a Grade 1 National Heritage Site as part of the valley in 2004. On the estate, Murray’s responsibilities include overseeing winemaking and marketing.
On VinoVoss, Rustenberg has 4 wines in stock: 2 red, 2 white. Their average rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 636 ratings.
