The history of Giacosa Fratelli began at the end of the 19th century, when four brothers—Leone, Giovanni Battista, Costantino, and Giuseppe—moved from Costigliole d'Asti to Neive in the Langhe to work as sharecroppers.

Located in Neive, in the heart of the Langhe hills, the winery manages 50 hectares of vineyards. In 1988, the company partnered with Giacomo Bologna of the Braida winery to acquire the Vigna dei Fiori in Trezzo Tinella, creating the Serra dei Fiori estate. It acquired vineyards at Cascina Canavere in Bussia and San Pietro in Monforte d'Alba in 1991, and Vigna Mandorlo in Scarrone, Castiglione Falletto in 1994. It added one hectare of Dolcetto and three of Barbera at Madonna Como in 2000, and in 2003, three and a half hectares of Nebbiolo in the Basarin vineyard and two hectares of Barbera at Cascina Bordini in Neive were added. Farming uses cover cropping, short pruning, and controlled yields. Its production capacity is about 10,000 hectoliters of wine, equal to 600,000 bottles per year.
On VinoVoss, Giacosa Fratelli has 5 wines in stock: 4 red, 1 white. Their average rating is 3.9 out of 5 from 104 ratings.
