Casa Vinicola Luigi Bigi was founded in 1880 by Luigi Bigi. The first headquarters of Casa Vinicola Bigi was the former monastery of La Trinità in Orvieto, which was a Franciscan convent confiscated by the Italian state in 1870.

Later, in 1972, Bigi relocated to a modern winery in Ponte Giulio near Orvieto. The estate encompasses 145 hectares of estate vineyards within the Orvieto DOC. Across this property, 70% of the vineyards are planted to white grapes on predominantly clay hillsides at altitudes between 150 and 450 meters. For winemaking, the winery has a production capacity of 30,000 hectoliters, equipped with modern vinification equipment and casks and barriques for aging.
On VinoVoss, Bigi has 1 wine in stock: 1 white. Their average rating is 3.4 out of 5 from 28 ratings.
