Volpe Pasini Cabernet 2023

Volpe Pasini Cabernet receives mixed feedback, with some praising its balanced black berries, pepper, and forest floor notes alongside complex orange and cherry layers, while others criticize its perceived lack of depth relative to price. The wine shows both vibrant fruit characteristics and herbal complexity.

The 2020 Volpe Pasini Cabernet presents a deep garnet hue, indicative of its robust character. On the nose, it unveils a layered bouquet of ripe blackcurrant and dark cherry, intertwined with subtle hints of cedar and dried herbs, showcasing its Friuli origins. The palate is full-bodied, with a firm tannic structure that supports flavors of cassis and plum, accented by a whisper of graphite. A vibrant acidity provides balance, leading to a long, mineral-driven finish. This Cabernet exemplifies the elegance and complexity of Northern Italian reds, offering both immediate appeal and potential for further aging.
