Decent wine, but lacking in sophistication and depth. I wish I had more information about it.

Crisp and lean wine with a golden hue, its oak and citrus tones mingle harmoniously, but a mild nuance of tartness adds layers and balance.

Smooth surprise awaits those wanting a bright and lean entry-level Falanghina del Sannio, boasting a lovely bracing quality and concentrated citrus notes. while not a game-changer, this wine is well-suited for a variety of seafood and chicken-based dishes.

What the web is saying

Vicus Falanghina del Sannio offers a crisp and lean profile with citrus and oak tones. While some appreciate its bright, floral character and suitability for seafood, others find it lacking in depth and complexity. The wine's tartness adds balance, but its overall profile may feel uninspired to some.

Voss Experts4.5

This Falanghina del Sannio presents a luminous straw-yellow hue, inviting exploration. On the nose, it reveals an intricate bouquet of ripe pear, white peach, and a hint of wild herbs, underscored by a delicate minerality. The palate is vibrant and well-structured, showcasing a harmonious interplay of crisp acidity and a subtle saline note, which enhances its refreshing character. Mid-palate, the wine unfolds layers of citrus zest and almond, leading to a clean, persistent finish. This wine exemplifies the quintessential balance and elegance of Falanghina, making it a stellar representation of the Sannio terroir.
