La Capranera Falanghina is praised for its crisp, dry character with balanced citrus, pear, and tropical fruit notes. Many appreciate its lively acidity and minerality, though some find it lacking depth. While some enjoy its refreshing and versatile nature, others feel it falls short on freshness. Overall, it's a well-regarded choice for those seeking a clean, zesty wine.
This Falanghina presents a luminous straw-yellow hue, revealing a bouquet of white flowers, ripe pear, and a hint of crushed seashells, indicative of its coastal Campanian origins. The palate is a harmonious interplay of vibrant acidity and a medium-bodied texture, showcasing flavors of green apple, lemon zest, and a subtle almond undertone. Its minerality adds depth, while a refreshing salinity enhances the wine's complexity. The finish is crisp and persistent, with a whisper of herbal notes. This wine exemplifies the varietal's potential, offering both approachability and sophistication, making it a quintessential expression of Southern Italian terroir.
