This Austrian sparkling wine, crafted from Riesling, presents a brilliant pale straw hue with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is a symphony of green apple, white peach, and a hint of lime zest, underscored by subtle floral notes of elderflower. On the palate, it reveals a crisp, vibrant acidity that harmonizes with the mineral-driven core, characteristic of the Kamptal terroir. The mousse is creamy yet precise, leading to a finish that is both refreshing and elegantly dry, with lingering nuances of wet stone and citrus peel. A benchmark for quality in the realm of Riesling Sekt.

We are 50+ wine professionals (sommeliers, buyers, MW candidates) across the US, UK, France, Greece, Italy, and beyond. We review wines via blind tastings with a standardized rubric, using both 100-point and 5-star scales.
