This intriguing blend presents a luminous, pale salmon hue, hinting at its unique composition. On the nose, it offers a delicate bouquet of wild strawberries, white peach, and a whisper of rose petal, underscored by a subtle minerality. The palate is a harmonious interplay of crisp acidity and a silky texture, revealing layers of red currant and citrus zest. A gentle phenolic grip adds structure, leading to a refined, lingering finish with a touch of saline complexity. This wine exemplifies the coastal terroir, offering a fresh, elegant expression that invites immediate enjoyment.

Scar Of The Sea's Bassi Vineyard blend combines Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir, sourced from a coastal vineyard in San Luis Obispo, California. The proximity to the Pacific Ocean imparts a cooling influence, preserving the grapes' natural acidity. The Pinot Gris contributes a crisp, mineral-driven profile, while the Pinot Noir adds depth and subtle red fruit notes. Fermentation occurs in neutral oak barrels, allowing the wine to develop complexity without overt oak flavors. This wine is crafted for those who appreciate a balanced, refreshing style with a harmonious blend of fruit and structure.
