This Robert Craig Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is a full-bodied, complex and balanced red wine. On the nose, it has notes of blackberry, black currant and dark chocolate. On the palate, it has intense flavors of black fruits, graphite, licorice, espresso and a hint of oak. The tannins are firm but supple, leading to a long finish. This is an excellent expression of the Howell Mountain terroir.

Robert Craig's Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon receives praise for its bold structure and aging potential, with reviewers highlighting rich dark fruit flavors (blackberry, plum), firm tannins, and full-bodied texture. While some find it approachable now with decanting, others emphasize its need for further maturation. The wine balances fruit-forward intensity with notes of leather, spice, and oak, though a few note occasional overpowering tannins in younger vintages.
