Quintessa Rutherford NV

Quintessa Rutherford is praised for its rich, full-bodied character with notes of blackberry, cassis, and oak. Many appreciate its smooth tannins and complex layers of fruit and spice. However, some find it overpriced and lacking in depth. While some enjoy its bold flavors and elegant finish, others feel it doesn't justify the high price. Overall, it's a well-regarded wine with a strong following.

This is a full-bodied and complex Cabernet Sauvignon from Rutherford, Napa Valley. It offers aromas of ripe blackberry, cassis, and hints of black pepper, with a subtle suggestion of dark chocolate and coffee. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and intense, with a bold tannic structure, firm acidity, and a persistent finish. Flavors of ripe blackberry and cassis are complemented by notes of earth, mocha, and black pepper, as well as a lingering hint of oak. This is an elegant and well-balanced wine that will continue to develop in the bottle.
