This Portuguese red exudes a deep garnet hue, indicative of its robust character. On the nose, it unveils a rich tapestry of blackcurrant and plum, interwoven with subtle hints of dark chocolate and a whisper of dried herbs. The palate is full-bodied, showcasing a harmonious balance between ripe tannins and vibrant acidity, which underscores its elegant structure. Layers of black cherry and spice unfold, leading to a lingering finish marked by a mineral edge.
