Opulent and full-bodied Portuguese red with deep touches of intense fruit, tobacco, smoke, and pepper, seamless by a polished finish.

Rich, full-bodied wine with a deep, concentrated color. The nose is driven by by blackberry, vanilla, and oak, with a wisp of plum. The taste is dense and velvety, with a firm tannic composition that provides a good evenness to the fruitiness. The linger is long and satisfying, with a nuance of oak and vanilla lingering on the palate. The wine has stonking potential and is worth revisiting in the future. It will only improve with time, and it's a superb candidate for cellaring. It will be interesting to see how it develops over the next 5+ years.

A remarkable wine crafted by the winemaker for Barca Velha. It is truly exceptional.

What the web is saying

Duorum Colheita Tinto is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with notes of blackberry, plum, oak, and vanilla. While some appreciate its smooth tannins and balanced flavors, others find it lacks complexity and elegance. The wine's aging potential is noted, with a velvety finish that pleases many. However, a few reviews mention a lack of depth and an overpowering presence.

Voss Experts4.5

This Duorum Colheita Tinto is a dark, ruby-colored blend of Syrah and Touriga Nacional grapes. It has an intense nose of ripe dark fruits, like blackberry and black cherry, as well as notes of spice and forest floor. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, with a core of ripe black fruits and a hint of earthiness. The finish is long and elegant, with a lingering hint of spice. Overall, a complex and delicious wine perfect for pairing with bold flavors.
