Prunotto Barolo 2022

Prunotto Barolo offers a rich, full-bodied experience with notes of cherry, leather, and forest floor. While praised for its smooth tannins and balanced acidity, some find it lacking in depth and complexity. The wine's earthy undertones and fruity aromas make it a versatile choice for pairing with meats and cheeses. Opinions vary, with some appreciating its elegance, while others desire more intensity.

This Barolo from Prunotto is a classic expression of Nebbiolo. On the nose, aromas of dried rose petals, leather, and baking spices are present. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied yet balanced, with a smooth texture and flavors of ripe cherries, cedar, and dried herbs. The finish is long and persistent, with a lingering hint of minerality. An elegant and classic Barolo that will continue to improve in the bottle.
