Exhibiting a delicate salmon hue, the Louis de Grenelle Corail Saumur Sec Rosé enchants with its aromatic bouquet of wild strawberries, red currants, and a whisper of rose petals. On the palate, this wine reveals a crisp, mineral-driven structure, underscored by vibrant acidity that accentuates its refreshing nature. I regret acquiring two bottles of this. I will not purchase more. The bubbles are satisfactory, but the abundance is overwhelming, and the potency is sufficient for my taste preferences... which is that they are unpleasant. The nose is influenced by by macerated strawberries, possibly maraschino cherry, with a considerable amount of residual sugar for a Brut. The sweetness is excessive, in my opinion. The weight of candied cherry and sweet-tarts or smarties is also notable, although it is overly saccharine for a Brut. I will not make a repeat purchase. I will return.

Louis de Grenelle Corail Saumur Sec Rosé is appreciated for its vibrant, fruity flavors of strawberry, raspberry, and peach, with a refreshing acidity. While some find it overly sweet and syrupy, others enjoy its effervescence and long finish. The wine's earthy and citrus notes add complexity, though opinions vary on its sweetness and acidity balance.
