Bracing and refreshing wine with a light, airy grip and a lingering linger that leaves a gentle echo of citrus, brioche, and mineral notes.

What the web is saying

Les Crêtes Chardonnay is praised for its elegant blend of pear, green apple, and butter notes, with tropical undertones and a refreshing finish. While some appreciate its smooth, velvety texture and citrusy dimension, others find the body and consistency lacking. The wine's crispness and nuanced aromas make it a sophisticated choice, though opinions on its overall impact vary.

Voss Experts4.5

A luminous straw hue introduces the Les Crêtes Chardonnay, a wine of notable Alpine finesse. The nose is a symphony of ripe pear, white peach, and a whisper of flinty minerality, underscored by subtle nuances of almond blossom and a touch of vanilla from judicious oak aging. On the palate, it reveals a seamless integration of vibrant acidity and a creamy texture, echoing notes of citrus zest and a hint of hazelnut. The finish is long and precise, marked by a refreshing salinity that speaks to its mountainous terroir. This Chardonnay exemplifies the elegance and precision of Northern Italian winemaking.

We are 50+ wine professionals (sommeliers, buyers, MW candidates) across the US, UK, France, Greece, Italy, and beyond. We review wines via blind tastings with a standardized rubric, using both 100-point and 5-star scales.
