Captivating visit to Jean Bourdy in Jura was a truly unforgettable experience. The wines produced in his family for over 500 years have been crafted with precision and care, resulting in a unique blend of Poulsard, Trousseau, and Pinot Noir. The wines are cofermented in old oak foudres, yielding a multi faceted nose that combines rusticity with bright fruit, featuring a diverse array of berries, violets, and farmyard notes. The zest is dry, in contrast the tannins are quite astringent, adding dimension and structure. The fruit is sharp and tart, with a distinctive funkiness and earthiness that adds complexity. The generally mark is one of fascination, as the wines showcase the nuances of this esteemed winemaker's craft.

The broadly impression is one of a light-bodied wine that is both easy to drink and enjoyable to sip, making it a amazing choice for those pursuing a pleasant and accessible Pinot.
