Jean Bourdy Côtes du Jura 2020

A sophisticated and casual Pinot, with a light appearance and a nose that presents the fruit-forward aromas of strawberries and other berries. A cool vintage, 1993, adds a vibrant and lean quality to the wine, as its tannins are expertly integrated to provide a refined and velvety texture. The broadly impression is one of a light-bodied wine that is both easy to drink and enjoyable to sip, making it a amazing choice for those pursuing a pleasant and accessible Pinot.

Smooth blend of Pinot Noir, Trousseau, and Poulsard, cultivated in a high-altitude alpine vineyard, features a Burgundian influence meanwhile revealing the unique characteristics of the terroir. A translucent tinge is accompanied by delicate, ethereal aromas of underbrush, dried rose petal, and a whisper of gamey undertones. On the palate, firm, ultra-fine tannins are balanced by bright acidity, high-toned red berries, and a spicy floral note, but a savory herbaceous follow through is provided by the wine's nuanced terroir.

Rich, velvety wine with a multi faceted nose featuring dried dates, walnut cake, and stewed apples, polished by a wisp of hazelnut and a touch of lemon. The lasting impression is long and satisfying, with a smooth, inviting quality that makes it a excellent match for a variety of dishes.
