Voss Expert4.5/5

Voss Expert tasting note

A radiant golden hue introduces this Moscatel, offering a bouquet that is both opulent and nuanced. Aromas of orange blossom and apricot are interwoven with hints of honeysuckle and a subtle minerality. On the palate, it reveals a luscious texture, balanced by a vibrant acidity that elevates its inherent sweetness. Flavors of candied citrus and ripe peach are complemented by a whisper of ginger spice, leading to a lingering, elegant finish. This wine exemplifies the classic Moscatel style, showcasing both the varietal's aromatic intensity and the region's capacity for producing wines of remarkable finesse and depth.

Haja Cortezia Três Vinhas Moscatel is crafted from the aromatic Muscat grape, sourced from three distinct vineyards in Portugal's sun-drenched Douro Valley. The region's warm climate and schist soils contribute to the wine's expressive floral and citrus notes. Fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the grape's natural freshness and vibrant character. This wine is intended to be enjoyed young, offering a bright, fruit-forward profile with a balanced sweetness and refreshing acidity, making it an ideal choice for those who appreciate a lively and aromatic white wine.
