Well-crafted wine with a rich, gentle texture, but its nuances elude me. A deep, burnished hue, with a nose that's heavy on oak and mild whispers of almond and vanilla. The sensation is a savory, dry sherry-like experience, with a gratifying crunch of almond and a wisp of warmth from the oak. whereas it's pleasant, I'm not convinced it's worth sipping over a similar, dry sherry.
Sidnei
Truly exceptional, sophisticated, and elegant liquid that paired magnificently with a stuffed capon. The best wine of the evening, hands down. A broad and harmonious spectrum of fruits and spices with delicate vanilla and toffee whispers from extended oak aging, accompanied by a long and elegant finish. The freshness and herbaceous accents added a delightful nuance. A wine that rivals the finest Gran Reserva whites from Tondonias, a true standout.
Minky
Robust and layered wine with a multitude of tertiary flavours, highlighting bruised apple, pear, and layers of tropical fruit, all graceful by a lovely salinity and minerality, with a delicate nuttiness of hazelnut. The follow through is long and satisfying, with a nuance that rewards multiple sips.

Hacienda López de Haro Gran Reserva Classica Blanco is praised for its rich, layered flavors, including notes of apple, pear, tropical fruits, and subtle vanilla. While some appreciate its oak and nuanced complexity, others find it reminiscent of dry sherry. The wine's smooth texture and long finish are consistently highlighted, though its value compared to similar wines is debated.
This Gran Reserva Blanco from Rioja captivates with its luminous straw hue and an intricate bouquet of dried apricot, chamomile, and subtle almond blossom. On the palate, it reveals a remarkable depth, with layers of preserved lemon and quince interwoven with a delicate minerality. The wine's structure is defined by its vibrant acidity, seamlessly balanced by a creamy texture, leading to a lingering finish with hints of marzipan and a whisper of saline. Exemplifying the finesse of aged white Rioja, this wine stands as a testament to the region's capability to produce complex, age-worthy whites.
