Bodegas Bhilar Tinto is crafted in the Rioja Alavesa region of Spain, where the vineyard benefits from a continental climate with Mediterranean influences. The wine is a blend of primarily Tempranillo grapes, with small amounts of Graciano and Garnacha, grown on limestone-rich soils. Fermentation occurs in concrete vats, preserving the wine's natural fruit character, followed by aging in French oak barrels to enhance complexity. This results in a medium-bodied wine with balanced acidity, showcasing red fruit flavors and subtle spice, ideal for those who appreciate a modern expression of Rioja.
