Guthrie Family Faux Picpoul Blanc 2020 is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with tropical fruits, citrus, and floral notes. It offers a balanced, crisp finish, with layered undertones of green apple, pear, and peach, creating a harmonious experience.
The Guthrie Family Faux Picpoul Blanc presents a luminous pale straw hue, offering an inviting prelude to its aromatic profile. On the nose, it unfurls a delicate bouquet of white peach, lime zest, and a whisper of honeysuckle, underscored by a subtle minerality. The palate is vibrant and well-structured, showcasing a lively acidity that harmonizes with notes of green apple and a hint of saline. This wine's crisp, clean finish and moderate alcohol make it a versatile companion for seafood, echoing the classic Picpoul de Pinet style with a New World twist.
