Guillaume Cabrol Picpoul de Pinet

This Picpoul de Pinet receives mixed praise for its refreshing citrus and tropical notes, with many appreciating its vibrant character and seafood pairing potential. While some enjoy its zesty acidity and elegant floral undertones, others find the sharp minerality and bitter finish overpowering. Reviews highlight contrasting experiences with the balance between sweetness and acidity.

This Picpoul de Pinet presents a crystalline, pale straw hue, indicative of its fresh and vibrant character. The nose is a precise interplay of saline minerality and zesty citrus, with whispers of white blossom and green apple. On the palate, it showcases a taut, linear structure, underscored by a bracing acidity that is quintessential to the Picpoul grape. The mid-palate reveals subtle notes of wet stone and a hint of fennel, culminating in a clean, lingering finish. This wine exemplifies the quintessential maritime influence of the Languedoc region, offering a refined expression of coastal terroir.
