The nose is driven by by the sweetness of ripe pears and apricots, with a hint of wet stone minerals that adds nuance and balance. I'm a huge fan of the Cosme label, and I was blown away by this fantastic white Rhône. Grown in the lush limestone soils of Saint Martin in the Vaucluse region, just next to Gigondas, this wine boasts impressive body and a refined evenness of flavors. The filtering is just right, without stripping out any of the flavor. This is a serious $45 bottle for a fraction of the price, making it a must-try for anyone looking to elevate their wine game. 4.1 out of 5 stars.
