Guido Porro V. Lazzairasco Barolo 2019

The nose is a more subdued expression of the Santa Catarina's characteristics, showing a more restrained and nuanced experience.

Barolo of 1989, Priocca, with a composition that is a hallmark of the vintage, but unfortunately, this particular wine was in decline, which is quite unusual given its impressive foundation. The wine's color was a deep, reddish-brown hue, with flavors of nutty, coffee, and cooked fruits, accompanied by traces of mulch and mushroom. However, the profile was marred by oxidative hints, which became apparent in the finish. The rating is a result of the wine's decline, with a score of 2.5 or 3 stars.

Bold and rich wine with a deep, inky crimson glow and a medium-bodied structure. Its soft bracing quality is polished by a smooth, plush texture, meanwhile a accent of leathery whispers adds nuance and structure to the finish.
