Soft and sweet, with a elegant integration of sweetness and acidity, leaving a vibrant finish.

Sugary, syrupy wine that's more akin to a fizzy drink than a smooth beverage. The nose is echoing of a sweet, sparkling beverage, with a distinct alcohol and crispness that sets it apart from other wines. The body is medium and the trail is short, with no legs to speak of. It's a drink that's more suited to a casual gathering than a sophisticated dinner party.

A well-rounded and captivating wine with a rich, plush grip and a sweet, syrupy finish.

What the web is saying

Gallo Family Vineyards Moscato is praised for its sweet, fruity flavors with notes of peach, honey, and citrus. Many appreciate its vibrant, easy-drinking nature and affordability. While some find it overly sweet and syrupy, others enjoy its refreshing and crisp finish. It's often recommended for casual occasions rather than formal settings, appealing to those who prefer sweeter wines.

Voss Experts4.3

This Moscato presents a pale straw hue, with a nose that bursts with exuberant aromas of ripe peach, honeysuckle, and orange blossom, underpinned by a subtle hint of lychee. On the palate, it is unabashedly sweet yet balanced by a lively acidity that prevents it from cloying. The wine's light body and effervescent quality enhance its refreshing character, making it an ideal aperitif. The finish is clean, with lingering notes of candied citrus and a whisper of floral perfume. While not complex, it is a quintessential example of the approachable and fruit-forward style typical of Californian Moscato.
