This Muscadet-Sevre et Maine from Gadais Pere & Fils showcases the quintessential minerality and saline character of the region. Pale straw in hue, the nose reveals a precise bouquet of green apple, lemon zest, and subtle white floral notes. On the palate, the wine is linear and crisp, with a vibrant acidity that underscores its refreshing nature. The mid-palate offers a delicate interplay of wet stone and citrus, leading to a clean, lingering finish. This is a benchmark Muscadet, ideal for pairing with shellfish or as an aperitif, reflecting the classic style of the Loire Valley.

The wine's delicate nuances evoke the freshness of citrus fruits, primarily lemon and grapefruit, during suggestions of ripened strawberry and green apple add layers and complexity. A zesty and lean experience, nostalgic of a bracing morning on the peninsula.
