This Puligny-Montrachet reveals a luminous pale gold hue, indicative of its finesse and pedigree. The bouquet is a harmonious interplay of white blossom, ripe pear, and a whisper of flint, underscored by a subtle touch of hazelnut from judicious oak aging. On the palate, it exhibits a precise structure, with vibrant acidity seamlessly integrated into a creamy texture, offering layers of citrus zest, crushed stone, and a hint of brioche. The finish is long and mineral-driven, showcasing the quintessential elegance and complexity expected from this esteemed appellation. A benchmark for refined Burgundy Chardonnay.

We have had 12 Burgundy Chardonnay's today, and this is the best. The toffee notes are deep and decadent, with a sweet buttery nose that's unmistakable. The French oak adds a nuanced complexity, and yet the Burgundy smell is unmistakable. The profile is gentle and velvety, with a big toffee butter feel that rests on the tongue. The zest is low, and the conclusion is long and satisfying. Overall, this is a solid Chardonnay that's well worth the investment. It's a great cost effectiveness for the price, and we highly recommend it. 2013 is a remarkable vintage, and this wine is a testament to the quality of the region. We return it.

Intense and nuanced white burgundy with a bracing zest that cuts through its richness, leaving a round and supple texture. The layers of peach, apricot, and melon are well-balanced and harmonious, meanwhile the oak, vanilla, and cream suggestions add substance and warmth. The finish is long and satisfying, with a dry and vibrant quality that leaves the texture feeling refreshed and revitalized. Overall, a well-balanced and subtle white burgundy that is sure to please.
