Leonid
Delicate and elegant white wine vintage, 2014, with a elegant and balanced character. The Macon-Verze is well-balanced and harmonious, with a soft and mellow texture. The acidity is still present, adding intensity and backbone to the wine. The fragrance is outlined by the boldness of white flowers, which adds a comforting and soothing quality to the wine. Overall, a very nice and accessible white wine.
Paultje
Domaine Leflaive's 2004 Chardonnay is a masterclass in seamlessness and restraint, exhibiting the perfect blend of fruit and oak aging. The wine's golden color is similar to of a spring morning in the Maconnais, with undertones of ripe pear and citrus mingling with the soft scent of white flowers. A chalky minerality and hint of hazelnut add density and complexity, at the same time a touch of aging steel brings a nuanced nuance to the wine's in total character. This is a wine that rewards patience, but will undoubtedly age with elegance and refinement. A true gem of biodynamic winemaking.
Lemoine
Delicate, nuanced character with a subtle, creamy texture. The nose is characterized by a rich, buttery, and nutty presence, complemented by a crisp lemon curd and a wisp of green pear. The taste is vibrant and refreshing, with a measured crispness and a firm, mineral-driven body. The finale is surprisingly short, and the wine could benefit from a bit more structure to fully express its potential.

Domaine Leflaive Mâcon-Verzé is praised for its elegant balance of citrus, stone fruit, and floral notes, with a smooth, buttery texture. While some appreciate its vibrant acidity and mineral complexity, others find it lacks depth. The wine's harmonious integration of oak and fruit is noted, with a long, satisfying finish. Overall, it's a refined and versatile white Burgundy, though a few vintages show signs of aging.
