Domaine Larue is a wine estate in Saint-Aubin, the birthplace of the Larue family. Cousins Bruno and Vivien Larue work together in the vineyards and cellar. The estate covers 17 hectares, with vines spread across Saint-Aubin, Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault and Aloxe-Corton. Vineyard work aims to keep intervention to a minimum, encouraging living soils with little compaction while limiting ploughing and trimming. The soils are bare only in spring, when the vines need vigour. Harvesting is entirely by hand, followed by careful hand sorting. Depending on the grapes’ phenolic ripeness, whole bunches can make up as much as 70% of the harvest.
On VinoVoss, Domaine Larue has 7 wines in stock: 1 red, 6 white. Their average rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 50 ratings.
