Pious
Delicate, effervescent wine with a subtle, herbaceous bouquet, featuring hints of dried violets, lilacs, and potting soil, balanced by a mineral core of iron ore and loamy soil, with a suggestion of bay leaf.
Xsv Paquy
The wine's subtle, pale ruby shade invites the eye, at the same time its fresh, mineral-driven character is akin to of damp earth and iron. As the glass is opened, the metallic layers emerge, but they gradually dissipate, leaving a subtle, musty undertone. The taste is featured by a pronounced acidity, which provides a bracing tactile quality without overpowering the wine's smooth, supple finish, which is marked by layers of kirsch cherries and brandy currants. The aftertaste is long and satisfying, with a chalky quality that lingers on the palate.
Sanzit
Straightforward, affordable wine with a clear, if unremarkable, character. The nose is driven by by cherry and red fruit, with a trace of cola and minerality. The impression is tart and astringent, with a lively finish. Overall, a pleasant, easy-drinking option for those craving a simple, no-frills wine.
