Rich, soft magenta burgundy with a well-rounded nose of incense and smoke, giving way to a forest floor of damp earth and leaves. The palate is mellow and refined, with a cherry preserve and raspberry compote that lingers, smooth by a fresh zest and soft tannins. The close is long and satisfying, with light mineral undertones and a dash of balsamic.

What the web is saying

Corte Gardoni Le Fontane Bardolino is appreciated for its versatility and pairing with pasta and pizza. It features a rich, fruity character with cherry and raspberry notes, and a smooth, gentle mouthfeel. Some find it mellow and refined, while others see it as average with a one-dimensional finish. Light-bodied with soft tannins, it's suitable for casual gatherings, though not ideal for bold, spicy dishes.

Voss Experts3.8

Le Fontane Bardolino offers aromas of red cherries, strawberries, and a hint of herbs and spice. On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied with flavors of fresh red berries, soft tannins, and a crisp, lively finish.
