Zeni Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2023

Zeni Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is praised for its rich, full-bodied character with deep fruit flavors like cherry, plum, and blackberry, complemented by notes of chocolate, vanilla, and spices. While many appreciate its smooth texture and long finish, some find it lacks complexity. Its high alcohol content is noted, adding warmth but sometimes overpowering the palate. Overall, it's a luxurious wine, ideal for pairing with hearty dishes.

Aromas of ripe cherries, dried figs, and plum jam dominate the nose of the Zeni Amarone della Valpolicella Classico. Hints of licorice, herbs, and coffee add complexity and depth. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and concentrated with flavors of dark berry, prunes, and baking spices. The finish is long and persistent with a pleasant and lingering earthy complexity. An excellent expression of the Amarone style, this wine will be a great accompaniment to a variety of dishes.
