Château de Saint Cosme Micro-Cosme Sauvignon - Viognier is praised for its seamless blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier, offering grassy and green apple notes with hints of honey and pineapple. While some find it clean and balanced, others report sharp acidity and unbalanced citrus. It pairs well with seafood and has a rich, buttery finish, making it versatile yet not always memorable.
A luminous pale straw hue introduces this intriguing blend, where Sauvignon Blanc's vivacity meets Viognier's opulence. The nose is a symphony of white peach, elderflower, and a whisper of honeysuckle, underscored by a mineral edge. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with a seamless integration of bright acidity and a creamy texture, offering flavors of ripe apricot and lime zest. The finish is elegantly prolonged, with a hint of wet stone and a touch of almond. This wine exemplifies the harmonious balance and aromatic complexity typical of Southern Rhône whites, making it a compelling choice for connoisseurs.
