Boroli Cerequio Barolo 2004

Boroli Cerequio Barolo is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with notes of black cherry, raspberry, and leather. It offers a satisfying finish with well-integrated tannins. While some find it elegant and luxurious, others note a need for further aging to mellow its tannic structure. The wine's complexity and potential for aging make it a favorite for pairing with hearty dishes.

This Boroli Cerequio Barolo shows a pale garnet color that turns brick at the rim of the glass. The nose is lifted with perfumed notes of dried flowers and sour cherry. The palate is rich and full with balancing vibrant acidity and grippy tannins. The long finish is earthy in profile making this wine well-suited to dishes such as truffled polenta and porcini mushrooms. This wine will show its full potential with an additional 5 years of cellaring but will keep for the next 15 years.
