Birichino Jurassic Park Vineyard Old Vines Chenin Blanc is praised for its harmonious blend of citrus, apple, and tropical fruit flavors, with a refreshing and racy finish. While some appreciate its subtle oak and mineral undertones, others find it lacks finesse. The wine's vibrant acidity and balanced sweetness make it versatile for pairing with various dishes.
This Chenin Blanc from the Jurassic Park Vineyard showcases a luminous straw hue, revealing its vibrant character. The nose is an intricate tapestry of quince, white peach, and honeysuckle, underscored by a mineral edge reminiscent of wet stone. On the palate, it offers a harmonious interplay of ripe pear and citrus zest, supported by a taut acidity that provides a precise, linear structure. The wine's textural depth is complemented by a subtle hint of almond and a saline finish, marking it as a quintessential expression of old vine Chenin Blanc with remarkable finesse and longevity.
