Verrro Spampatti
Aromatic and authentic, with a waxy body and honey and apricot undertones. However, the second day's exposure introduced a petroleum note, which detracted from the experience. Not a fan of Rhone whites, and this particular wine didn't alter my opinion.
Wills
Wine that's ripe for the picking, with a lovely melon and peach color that's elegantly even by the full lemon honey. The oak and vanilla suggestions are well-integrated, but the follow through is a bit short, suggesting that this wine will only get better with time. A excellent investment for those who want to stock up and revisit next year, the year after, and again...
Mattijn
Seamless blend of citrus, green apple, and minerality, with toasty and nutty undertones, accompanied by a supple and beautiful fruit profile. The seamlessness is well-tempered, with a delightful finish.

André Brunel Les Cailloux Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc is praised for its elegant blend of Roussanne and Grenache Blanc, offering notes of melon, apple, and honey with a refreshing mineral finish. While some appreciate its rich, nuanced character and smooth texture, others find it lacks brightness and acidity. The wine's oak and vanilla hints are well-integrated, but its aging potential is debated. Ideal for seafood pairings.
A luminous straw hue introduces this Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc, offering an aromatic tapestry of white peach, honeysuckle, and a whisper of fennel. The palate is a harmonious interplay of ripe apricot and almond cream, underscored by a vibrant acidity that elevates its textural richness. Subtle mineral nuances and a hint of aniseed weave through the mid-palate, culminating in a lingering, saline finish. This wine exemplifies the finesse and complexity typical of the region, promising both immediate pleasure and potential for graceful aging. A benchmark for Rhône whites, it pairs exquisitely with herb-crusted poultry or creamy seafood dishes.
