Alpha Estate Axia Malagouzia is praised for its vibrant floral and fruity notes, with aromas of white fruits, wild flowers, and a hint of nuttiness. While some appreciate its smooth, well-balanced texture and long, satisfying finish, others find it lacks refinement. The wine's lively acidity and subtle sweetness make it a versatile choice for pairing with various dishes.
Exhibiting a luminous straw hue, the Alpha Estate Axia Malagouzia unfurls with an aromatic bouquet of white peach, jasmine, and a whisper of basil, underscored by a subtle minerality. On the palate, this wine is a harmonious interplay of ripe apricot and citrus zest, enveloped in a medium-bodied texture that is both supple and vibrant. The precise acidity lends an invigorating lift, while a hint of saline complexity enhances the lingering finish. This Malagouzia exemplifies the quintessential expression of Greek terroir, offering a sophisticated yet approachable profile that stands as a benchmark for the varietal.
