Abbona Nebbiolo Langhe Garombello

This Nebbiolo receives mixed feedback, praised for elegant cherry and strawberry notes, smooth tannins, and balanced acidity that pairs well with light dishes. However, some criticize its bitter finish and lack of complexity, noting it falls short of expectations despite being affordable. While newer vintages show promise, older releases polarize drinkers.

This Nebbiolo from Langhe presents a captivating garnet hue, indicative of its youthful vibrancy. The bouquet unfurls with a symphony of red cherry, dried rose petals, and subtle hints of anise, underscored by a whisper of earthy minerality. On the palate, it reveals a medium-bodied structure with finely grained tannins and a lively acidity that harmonizes beautifully with its core of ripe red fruit and delicate spice. The finish is elegantly persistent, echoing notes of dried herbs and a touch of leather. A quintessential expression of Nebbiolo, showcasing the finesse and complexity of the Langhe terroir.
