Tenuta Rocca's origins lie in the family wine venture that brothers Bruno and Gianni began in Monforte d'Alba in the 1980s. In 1986, the family purchased the Ornati (Cascina Rocca) property of about 18 hectares in the locality of Ornati in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba. Andrea and Chiara, the third generation, guide Tenuta Rocca.

The Ornati vineyard has a surface area of 12 hectares, situated at 320 to 410 meters elevation with southeast, south, southwest, and west exposures. Dolcetto, Barbera, and Nebbiolo are grown as the territory's three native grape varieties. The estate conducts organic farming in its vineyards. Its wines include Langhe Chiara, Barbera d'Alba Superiore Vigna Ròca Neira, and Nebbiolo d'Alba Vigna Sorì Ornati.
On VinoVoss, Tenuta Rocca has 2 wines in stock: 2 red. Their average rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 19 ratings.
