Sérol has been passed down through five generations in the family.

The estate covers 38 hectares, with vineyards lying on granitic soils of the Massif Central between 400 and 550 meters in altitude. It is certified Organic by Ecocert and biodynamic under Biodyvin. Vineyard work includes Guyot Poussard pruning, composted biodynamic cattle manure applications, and annual green manure cover crops, and the estate has planted white grape varieties including Viognier and Chenin. Grapes are harvested entirely by hand, collected in small crates, sorted on vibrating tables, and moved into vats by gravity. Fermentations are carried out with minimal inputs and exclusively using indigenous yeasts. Red wines are vinified mostly in concrete vats, wooden vats, and amphorae, while white wines are vinified in barrels.
