In 1979, the estate was named Saint-Damien in tribute to a ruined chapel located near the cellars that no longer exists. Later, in 2013, Romain joined his father at the estate after completing viticultural training and oenology studies.

The estate comprises 45 hectares across the Gigondas, Plan de Dieu, Côtes-du-Rhône Villages, and Vin de France IGP appellations. Its 15 hectares in AOP Gigondas are located across lieux-dits including Le Gravas, Pigieres, La Louisiane, Les Souteyrades, La Moutte, and La Tour, while its Côtes-du-Rhône parcel is located on clay-loam soils at lieux-dits La Bouveau and Les Rouvieres and is planted with Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, and Cinsault. Farming practices include winter cover cropping, fertilization using manure from organic farms in the Alps, and mechanical soil work from April to July. All wines are vinified, aged, and bottled at the estate.
On VinoVoss, Saint-Damien has 2 wines in stock: 1 red, 1 rosé. Their average rating is 3.3 out of 5 from 10 ratings.
