Domaine de la Janasse is a wine estate whose history began in 1967, when Aimé Sabon took over his father’s and father-in-law’s vines, and which he founded in 1973 by building his own cellar. It takes its name from the family farm that was located in Courthézon, at a place called La Janasse. In 1991, Christophe Sabon joined his father, who handed him the keys to the cellar. Christophe’s sister Isabelle, a qualified oenologist, joined the team in 2001.

Farming follows an organic approach without pesticides or herbicides, with organic certification from the 2024 vintage. Its wines include Chaupin and Les Garrigues, both made entirely from Grenache. In the cellar, Christophe and Isabelle taste the musts throughout vinification to guide adjustments.
On VinoVoss, Domaine de la Janasse has 4 wines in stock: 4 red. Their average rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 268 ratings.
