Château Mont-Redon is a wine estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape whose first vines date back to Roman times. The vineyard belonged to the Episcopal see in 1344, then passed to the Astier-Mathieu family in the 18th century. Poet Anselme Mathieu ran the estate until the late 19th century, and Henri Plantin bought it in 1923. The family acquired Domaine de l’Oratoire Saint-Martin in 2020, Domaine du Joncier in 2022 and Domaine Les Amouriers in 2024.

The estate’s 100 contiguous hectares encompass rolled pebbles, safres and Urgonian limestone, with Syrah grown on limestone and safre terroirs. Traditional goblet pruning shapes the vines, and its wines include the single-estate cuvée Le Plateau de Mont-Redon.
