Ridolfi

Ridolfi is located in Mercatali, on the north-east slope of the Montalcino hill at 300 meters altitude, close to the Strada del Brunello. It covers 30 hectares total, with 13.5 hectares planted to Brunello, 3 hectares to Rosso di Montalcino, and over 700 olive plants.

Vineyards older than 15 years are trained to spurred cordon with two-bud pruning and four spurs, while vineyards planted after 2013 are trained to Guyot. Cluster thinning is performed three times during the season: at fruit set, veraison, and the end of ripening. Its wines include sparkling rosé, which is made from clusters harvested during the final cluster thinning.
