About Paxton
Paxton is a family-owned wine company established in 1979. Its founders and owners are viticulturalist David Paxton and Ang Tolly, and Paxton has been making wine since 1998.
In 2005, it opened its cellar door at Landcross Farm, a historic 1860s sheep farm and the site of the original village. The Landcross Farm vineyard covers 1.7 ha in the Seaview sub-region of McLaren Vale, planted to Grenache, Tempranillo, and Mataro. Since 2011, Paxton has been a fully certified organic and biodynamic wine producer, farming biodynamically without synthetic fertilisers and pesticides, using natural compost and minimal inputs. Its wines include Paxton Shiraz.
