Oliver's Taranga is a family wine producer in McLaren Vale, with origins in William Oliver's purchase of land in 1839. Six generations of the Oliver family have been growers, and Corrina Wright, the family's first winemaker, made the first Oliver's Taranga wine in 1994. In 2005, she and Brioni Oliver converted a heritage-listed worker's cottage into a cellar door. Cousins Corrina Wright, Brioni Oliver and Sam Oliver run the business.

The family's 100-hectare Taranga property grows Shiraz, Grenache and Mataro alongside Fiano, Vermentino, Tempranillo, Sagrantino and Mencia. Oliver's Taranga was also the first vineyard in South Australia to plant Sagrantino, Mencia and Falanghina, and among the first to plant Fiano. The wines are vegan friendly, as no animal products are added during winemaking.
