PAITIN is the Pasquero-Elia family winery in Neive, with origins in Benedetto Elia’s 1796 purchase of the Sorì of Bricco di Neive. Its first Barbaresco del Bricco di Neive label appeared in 1893; in 1948 the farm was managed single-handedly, before most Sorì vineyards were replanted in 1953.

Sorì Paitin, owned by the family since 1796, is Serraboella’s warmest slope and is planted with Nebbiolo. Organic practices introduced in the 2000s were certified in 2015. Its wines include Sorì Paitin Barbaresco Serraboella and Sorì Paitin Vecchie Vigne Barbaresco Riserva, whose fermentation and submerged-cap maceration last three to six weeks in steel before ageing in 25–50-hectolitre oak casks. The Barbarescos age in neutral, untoasted Slavonian and Austrian oak for 24 months, or 36 months for reserves.
On VinoVoss, PAITIN has 5 wines in stock: 4 red, 1 white. Their average rating is 3.9 out of 5 from 73 ratings.
